Uploaded subtitles not showing up

Hi!

Just started uploading a few subtitles using the OpenSubtitles Uploader.

They have uploaded sucessfully on .ORG, then manually Checked Uploads from .COM, it brought it in, but I cannot find it on the main page: The Forsyte Saga S1 E#1 - 1 Available subtitles - english | opensubtit

For some reason, it only appears under: First Episode subtitles Romanian | opensubtitles.com

I wonder if I’m doing anything wrong

The best thing is to report the problem in the topic:

So, that os_dev can see what's going on and fix the problem. 
I can only access your subtitles on .com, if i go to .org, search for the subtitle and click on the button (beta download)

it seems there was only caching issues, when you upload a subtitle to opensubtitles.org it takes a bit of time to synchronise, then it can take a little time more to refresh all caches.

if I get it right ,you uploaded that romanian subtitle

and couldn’t see it in the episode page ?

it can either be because the romanian language wasn’t selected in the search languages, or because the search results were not yet updated.

to report issues, this is the place to do it, forum.opensubtitles.org will be turned off soon, all issues regarding opensubtitles.com must be done on this forum

It seems it takes a few hours or a day for them to properly propagate.

Is there a way to programmatically upload the subs via the API? I’ve searched for documentation but couldnt find anything clear.

no there’s no API upload yet on opensubtitles.com, but you can click on “download (beta)” on opensubtitles.org to force the instant import to opensubitles.com once a subtitle is uploaded
